ITINERARY

Day 1: Darjeeling to Manebhanjan

Transfer from Darjeeling to Manebhanjan by Jeep - 35 kms and 1.5 Hrs drive and Overnight stay at Trekkers hut / Tent.

Day 2: Manebhanjang (2134M) to Tonglu (3070M) - approx - 11 kms.

The trek starts from Manebhanjang, a small village inhabited by the Buddhists and Sherpas. From here one can get a view of the entire trekking route and the ridgeline you will be hiking on. You will walk through dense evergreen forests and hillsides covered with wildflowers. On reaching Tonglu you will be rewarded with breath taking views over Kanchenjunga and its neighbouring peaks from one side and on the other side and you will get views of Darjeeling and Kurseong dotting the green hills.

Day 3: Trek from Tonglu to Kalipokhri (3108M) - approx - 13 kms.

Walk along the ridgeline through bamboo glades and farmlands with little villages inhabited by warm and friendly people.

Day 4: Trek from Kalipokhri to Sandakphu (3636M) - approx - 8 kms.

You will have a steep climb today through thick rhododendron and magnolia forests but will be rewarded with incredible scenic beauty. While arriving at Sandakphu (one of the various interpretations of the word meaning a peak full of poison plants), you will have an amazing view of the world's highest mountains (Everest, Kanchenjunga, Lhotse and Makalu – also known as the "Sleeping Buddha range") which are clad in snow and towering over you at a very close distance.

Day 5: Trek Sandakphu to Molley (3200M) - approx 16 kms

All along the route today you will be walking through rhododendrons, magnolias and chestnut oaks.

Day 6: Trek Molley to Phalut (3536M) - approx 10 kms

Once again you will walk through trees on the ridgeline. When you reach Phalut, you will be at the tri-junction of Nepal, Sikkim and Darjeeling.

Day 7: Trek Phalut to Ramam (2560M) - approx 15 kms

Today you may feel weak at the knees with the down hill walk. This region is known for its fertile lands.

Day 8: : Trek Ramam to Rimbick (2286M) - approx 19 kms

A gentle walk through fields and forests.

Day 9: Transfer from Rimbick to Darjeeling

The Team will need to trek about 1km to Rimbick Bazaar from the Trekkers Hut where you will spend the night. Trekking Company to transport team from Rimbick to Darjeeling in private vehicles. Team to organize accommodation on arrival.
