If an agent availed company services or purchased the tickets over and above his deposit amount (i.e. using credit from the company) and fails to clear the credit in the next 2 business working days, then the agent is liable to pay back the credit to the company along with interest charges at the rate of 6% per month. Further, if the agent fails to clear the liability with in the period of two days from the date of purchase of the ticket , Goibibo / www.goibibo.com reserve the right to initiate appropriate civil and criminal proceeding including but not limited to criminal breach of trust, cheating, etc.
Cancellation of tickets can be done either by logging on the Goibibo account (online) or by calling on the customer care number toll free number (offline).
To cancel the tickets online, Users shall have to complete the following procedure :
- Log onto www.goibibo.com
- Click on the Signin link at the top
- Click on Request Cancellation against the tickets you have booked.
- The User can both select and cancel his/her entire booking or part of the booking.
- A confirmation of cancellation will be sent via sms and email to the User.
User will not be able to use the online flight cancellation facility if:
a. there is an infant accompanying an adult?
For all such cancellations the user will have to use the offline cancellation facility.
To cancel the tickets offline, call the customer care numbers 09213025552 / 1-860-2-585858 between 8 AM to 10 PM , 7 days a week.
B. Cancellation of tickets within 24 hours of the flights
The User will have to contact the nearest airline office (of the concerned airline) to get his/her reservation cancelled. Goibibo is in no way responsible to ensure that the ticket shall be cancelled and the sole liability to confirm the same with the airline shall lie with the User.
Cancellation charges
For all refundable class tickets, the airline cancellation fee is charged per sector per passenger. All charges for individual airlines are given below on per sector per passenger basis. Please note that cancellation charges are subject to change by the Airline at its sole discretion and without notice to Goibibo. The cancellation charges may be verified at the time of cancellation with the airline by the User. Goibibo shall in no way be held responsible or liable in case of any change in the below table.

In addition to the above cancellation charges, Goibibo will charge a standard cancellation charge of Rs. 250 per person per segment ( We will add only sector[Sector?] in case of online cancellation and INR 250 per person per segment(Sector) in case of offline cancellation. The aforesaid amount of Rs. 250 per person may be changed by Goibibo at its sole discretion and without notice to the User. The User shall be responsible to check regularly on the website www.goibibo.com to see if there has been any change in the same.
For all non refundable class tickets, the airline cancellation fee is the same amount as the base fare.
This is not applicable on any promotional fares offered by airlines as cancellations charges for those will depend on the promotional offer.
Each airline has promotional fares also where this cancellation policy does not apply.
Amendments: All amendments come at a fee that varies from airline to airline. In addition to this fee, Goibibo charges an amendment handling fee of Rs 250 per passenger per sector in case of offline amendment and a charge of INR 250 and in case of online Amendment. Goibibo will collect these charges from the User when it makes the change in the travel plans. Goibibo will also collect the difference in fare, if any, applicable when the amendment is made.
This means every airline has a different amendment policy and over and above Goibbio charges INR 250 per person per segment in case of offline cancellation charges . ( It means Customer call up the call centre to reschedule.
And INR 250 will be charged by goibbio over and above the airline charges in case of online ( It means customer goes to our website and passes the requestWe would also like to add this line: Amendment and cancellation can be done only 24 hours prior to the flight with us.
The refund shall be processed within 30 days from the date of the cancellation request being made. The refund will be credited back to the same account from where the payment was made. For example, if the User used a credit card, Goibibo will make an appropriate charge reversal. If the User used a debit card, Goibibo will credit the money back to the debit card.
Where the User has cancelled his/her booking directly with the airlines, he/she will need to inform Goibibo with valid documentation to initiate the refund process. It is advisable to contact Goibibo within 48 hours of the cancellation request. Any later would require the User to send a scanned copy of your E-Ticket endorsed by the airlines to Goibibo.
- "We, Us, Our" and related expressions refer to ibibo Web Pvt. Ltd., a company incorporated under the Indian Companies Act, 1956, having its registered office at Vatika Towers, Ground Floor, Block A, DLF Golf Course Road, Sector – 54, Gurgaon – 122002, India ("Company")
- "You, your" and related expressions refer to the lead member and all other members of the party named in the booking of holiday packages on our site. (in general: "travellers").
- "Our Site" means the web site with the address www.goibibo.com
- "Suppliers" are business entities providing services such as, but not limited to flights, accommodation, holiday packages, ground services and excursions.
- You acknowledge that pictures of the Holiday Packages as shown on the website are indicative and may not be representative of the actual products.
- The rates /prices of the Holiday Packages shown of the website are only quotation only and no blocking has been made. Prices/Taxes are subject to changes and availability
- You are requested to advice acceptance of the Holiday Packages customized for you by return email for a valid booking to be made.
- Booking of Holiday Packages is subject to availability and confirmation of the Supplier. Special rates shall apply for peak seasons and the inclusions of such Holiday Packages may vary without any notice.
- Incase we are not able to provide the Hotel Packages as shown on the website, we reserve the right to give the substitute Hotel Package of the same standard.
- You are agree that the terms of the Holiday Packages may be subject to change at short notices due to circumstances beyond our or the suppliers control included but not limited to force majeure events etc.
- In such cases we act only as an intermediary agent with only the role of a mediator. Even if you make a booking through us, the contract will be between the supplier and you and the general travel and contractual terms and conditions of the supplier shall apply. We are not a party to the contractual relationship.
- By making a booking through our site you make an offer to purchase the service or holiday package from the supplier. We are authorized by each supplier to accept your offer on its behalf; this acceptance occurs when we send you a written confirmation of the booking and payment as per payment policy is received.
- Before placing an order you are advised to check the description of the Holiday Package carefully. By making a booking for a Holiday Package you agree to be bound by the conditions of booking included in the Holiday Package's description.
- Once we accept your booking on behalf of our suppliers, a legally binding contract is formed between you and the supplier of the service or holiday package chosen by you.
- The supplier's general travel and contractual terms and conditions are made available by us to you by means of a link or full text before the booking takes place and they will apply in addition to those set out here. The supplier's terms and conditions may include provisions relating to payment procedures, default, liability, cancellations, changes of bookings and refunds (if available) and any other restrictions.
- Where there is a conflict between any information on our site and these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions will apply in priority. Where there is a conflict between these terms and conditions and the supplier terms and conditions, the supplier’s one will apply in priority.
- We act as a mediator between you and the supplier and we can not be held responsible for any non-performance of the contract.
- We assume no liability for the performance of arranged services and/or holiday packages and we provide no guaranty with regard to their quality or fitness as represented. We do not as well supply any guaranty for the availability of services and/or holiday packages.
- The responsibility lies with the supplier as direct organizer of the services purchased by you.
- We request you to obtain suitable insurances/other protective measures etc. to safeguard yourselves.
- The suppliers providing their services and holiday packages through us are independent contractors and not our agents or our employees. We are not liable for their acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches or negligence or for any personal injuries, death, property damage or other damages or expenses resulting therefrom. We have no liability and we will make no refund in the event of any delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike, force majeure or other causes beyond their direct control, and they have no responsibility for any additional expenses, omissions, delays, re-routing or acts of any government or authority.
- We only commit ourselves to a careful choice and control of our suppliers. Incidentally the relevant supplier shall be liable in its own responsibility.
- Your right to cancel your service or holiday or modify your booking is determined by the applicable terms and conditions of the supplier. In such cases it is your responsibility to inform us in writing of such request specifying your booking reference. The time of receipt by us of the declaration of cancellation shall be decisive for the time of withdrawal and cancellation fees to be applied by the supplier.
- The laws of India govern the Holiday Packages. All disputes shall be settled within the jurisdiction of Gurgaon only.
User Agreement
Goibibo reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate the access to any or all GOIBIBO websites and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice.
Goibibo (India) Pvt. Ltd (hereinafter 'GOIBIBO') is only providing the services as agent of various tour operators (hereinafter 'Operators'). GOIBIBO's obligations are limited to issuance of ticket, providing information as made available to it and processing refunds. GOIBIBO is not responsible for the provision of services by the respective operator.
GOIBIBO assumes no responsibility or liability for the actions or omissions of the operators including non-adherence of the scheduled timings, behavior of the operator's staff, conditions inside the buses, loss of life or property, delay, breakdown or inconvenience suffered by the user or passenger.
Without prejudice to whatever is stated hereunder or hereinabove, The maximum liability on part of GOIBIBO arising under any circumstances, in respect of any services offered on the site, shall be limited to the refund of total amount received from the user for availing the services less any cancellation, refund or others charges, as may be applicable. In no case the liability shall include any consequential loss, damage or additional expense whatsoever beyond the amount charged by GOIBIBO for its services.
In the event that any of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein conflict with the Additional Terms or other terms and guidelines contained within any particular GOIBIBO website, then these terms shall control.In no event shall GOIBIBO and/or its suppliers be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages or any damages whatsoever including, without limitation, damages for loss of use, data or profits, arising out of or in any way connected with the travel or use or performance of the GOIBIBO website(s).
Passengers are required to furnish a copy of the ticket along with an identity proof at the time of boarding the bus.
All tickets issued shall be non-transferable.
Passengers are required to reach the boarding place before 30 min of scheduled departure time.
All disputes are subject to New Delhi jurisdiction only.
GOIBIBO reserves the right to change the terms, conditions, and notices under which the GOIBIBO websites are offered, including but not limited to the charges. The user is responsible for regularly reviewing these terms and conditions.
The customer is aware that Goibibo provides various services like hotel bookings, holidays, Deals and would like to learn about them, to enhance his / her travel experience.
The customer hereby specifically authorizes Goibibo to contact the user with offers on various services offered by it through direct mailers, e-mailers, telephone calls, short messaging services (SMS) or any other medium, from time to time. In case that the customer chooses not to be contacted, he / shall write to Goibibo for specific exclusion at (travel@goibibo.com)
- Goibibo is offering the Holiday Vouchers Offer ("Offer") for its customers. Under the Offer the customers need to purchase a voucher for Rs 99 from Goibibo in order to avail the various Hotel Deals ("Deals") being offered on the website.
- The users need to purchase one voucher per person.
- Every Deal and Voucher will be valid for a limited period and the Customer needs to ensure the validity of the same at the time of booking. Goibibo will not be responsible if the customer is unable to book any deal or use any voucher as a result of lapse of time.
- The Voucher will specify the Hotel Numbers and Id's and the Customers will need to make the bookings directly with the Hotel. Goibibo is not involved in the booking procedure in any manner and incase of any query/complaint with regard to the same, the Customer needs to contact the concerned Hotel directly.
- The booking is subject to availability and discretion of the Hotel/ Vendors.
- Customers consent to comply with these terms and conditions and waive any right to claim ambiguity in these terms and conditions and release, indemnify and hold harmless Goibibo and its respective affiliates, agents, representatives, officers, directors and employees from and against any injuries, losses, damages, claims, actions, or any liability of any kind resulting from or arising from their breach/non performance of these terms and conditions.
- Goibibo reserves the right to amend the rules of the Offer or extend the period or cancel or discontinue the same or any part thereof without giving any reasons or prior notice.
- The laws of India govern the Activity. All disputes shall be settled within the jurisdiction of Gurgaon only.
- The Offer will continue to be governed by the terms of the Website and the terms printed on the voucher.
- This Program cannot be clubbed with any other offer & promotions and/or any discount vouchers redeemable on ibibo.com/ goibibo.com.
