The website www.goibibo.com (the "Site") is published and maintained by Ibibo Group Pvt Ltd ("Company"), a company incorporated and existing in accordance with the laws of India. When you access, browse or use this Site, you accept, without limitation or qualification, the terms and conditions set forth herein. When you access any of the sub-Sites (whether belonging to an 'associate' of the Company or otherwise) through this Site, then such sub-Sites may have its own terms and conditions, which are specific to such sub-Sites.
These Terms and Conditions of use and any additional terms posted on this Site together constitute the entire agreement between the Company and you with respect to your use of this Site.
SITE AND IT'S CONTENTS
  • This Site is only for your personal use. You shall not distribute, exchange, modify, sell or transmit anything you copy from this Site, including but not limited to any text, images, audio and video, for any business, commercial or public purpose
  • This site is for consumer use only. Any travel agent/tour operator/consolidator/aggregator should not use this site for individual/group bookings. In the event of any bookings done by any travel agent/tour operator/consolidator/aggregator through the Site are detected, the Company reserves the right to cancel such bookings immediately without any notice to such travel agent/tour operator/aggregator/consolidator. The various discounts and offers mentioned on the Site are applicable to the Consumer for the purposes of end use only.
  • Goibibo.com currently accepts cards issued outside India for hotel bookings only for check-in date minimum of 72 hours from the time of transaction.
  • As long as you comply with the terms of these Terms and Conditions of Use, the Company grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited right to enter, view and use this Site. You agree not to interrupt or attempt to interrupt the operation of this Site in any manner whatsoever.
  • Access to certain areas of the Site may only be available to registered members. To become a registered member, you may be required to answer certain questions or provide certain details. Answers to such questions or details required may be mandatory and/or optional. You represent and warrant that all information you supply to us, about yourself, and others, is true and accurate.
LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES
  • This Site may contain links to websites operated by parties other than the Company. The Company does not control such Sites and is not responsible for their contents. the Company's inclusion of hyperlinks to such Sites does not imply any endorsement of the material on such Sites or any association with their operators. The Company does not warrant or make any representations regarding the use of or the result of the use of the material on the Site in terms of their correctness, accuracy, reliability, or otherwise, insofar as such material is derived from other service providers such as airlines, hotel owners and tour operators.
  • You acknowledge that this Site is provided only on the basis set out in these terms and conditions. Your uninterrupted access or use of this Site on this basis may be prevented by certain factors outside our reasonable control including, without limitation, the unavailability, inoperability or interruption of the Internet or other telecommunications services or as a result of any maintenance or other service work carried out on this Website. The Company does not accept any responsibility and will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising out of or in connection with any ability/inability to access or to use the Site.
  • You also acknowledge that through this Site, the Company merely provides intermediary services in order to facilitate booking of tickets and hotel services to you. Company is not the last-mile service provider to you and therefore, Company shall not be or deemed to be responsible for any lack or deficiency of services provided by any person (airline, travel/tour operator, hotel, facility or similar agency) you shall engage or hire or appoint pursuant to or resulting from, the material available in this Site.
  • Company will not be liable to you or to any other person for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential loss, damage, cost or expense of any kind whatsoever and howsoever caused from out of your usage of this Site.
  • If for any reason, the law does not permit exclusions of liability then, the liability of the Company shall be limited to such amount paid by the user and retained by the Company for the transaction in question.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
  • The Company may add to, modify or remove any part of these Terms and Conditions of Use at any time as it may deem fit, without notice. Any changes to these Terms and Conditions of Use or any terms posted on this Site apply as soon as they are posted. By continuing to use this Site after any changes are posted, you are indicating your acceptance of those changes.
  • The Company may add, change, discontinue, remove or suspend any other Content posted on this Site, including features and specifications of products described or depicted on the Site, temporarily or permanently, at any time, without notice and without liability.
  • The Company reserves the right to undertake all necessary steps to ensure that the security, safety and integrity of the Company's systems as well as its clients and users interests are and remain, well-protected. Towards this end, the Company may take various steps to verify and confirm the authenticity, enforceability and validity of orders placed by you.
  • If the Company, in its sole and exclusive discretion, concludes that the said orders are not or do not reasonably appear to be, authentic, enforceable or valid, then the Company may cancel the said orders at any time up to 06 hours before the scheduled time of departure of the relevant flight or 24 hours before the expected date of visit to any property booked through the Company.
  • You may travel to certain destinations which involve greater risks than others, entirely at your own risk as to cost and consequences.
  • Company requests you to consult your local authorities and evaluate travel prohibitions, warnings, announcements, and advisories issued by them before booking travel to certain international destinations.
  • By offering bookings for sale travel to particular destinations, the Company does not represent or warrant that travel to such a point is advisable or without risk. The Company does not accept liability for damages, losses, or delays that may result from improper documents for entry, exit, length of stay, or from travel to such destinations.
  • The Company reserves its exclusive right in its sole discretion to alter, limit or discontinue the Site or any material posted herein, in any respect. The Company shall have no obligation to take the needs of any User into consideration in connection therewith.
  • The Company reserves its right to deny in its sole discretion any user access to this Site or any portion hereof without notice.
  • No waiver by the Company of any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be binding except as set forth in writing and signed by its duly authorized representative.
PROMOTION CODES
  • Goibibo reserves the right to remove/modify any promotion code (hereinafter "Promo Code") without prior notification.
  • In the event of cancellation of bookings done using the Promo Code, the promo code discount amount shall be also deducted from the amount refunded to the Customer along with the standard cancellation charges.
    • For example If the total invoice is of INR 1000 and the discount offered is of INR 100, in the event of cancellation of the booking the total amount refunded will be INR 1000(Total invoice amount) - INR 100 (Promo Code discount offered) - INR 100 (Cancellation Charges) = INR 800 will be refunded.
  • The terms and conditions for using the Promo Code are defined and Goibibo reserves the right to update the same from time to time.
  • The usage limits of a Promo Code by the Customer for bookings within a specific time period shall be governed by Goibibo.
DISPUTES
  • If any dispute arises between you and the Company during your use of the Site or thereafter, in connection with and arising from your use or attempt to use this Site, the dispute shall be referred to arbitration. Both parties shall agree to a sole arbitrator. The place of arbitration shall be Delhi. The arbitration proceedings shall be in the English language.
  • The said arbitration proceedings shall be governed and construed in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and modifications thereof as in force at the relevant time.
  • These terms and conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India and any dispute shall exclusively be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate Courts situated at Delhi, India.
goCash Terms and Conditions
  • In the event that the Customer opts for a refund in the form of goCash, the Customer may receive bonus goCash in accordance with the promotional offers available from time to time.
  • In order to redeem the goCash, the Customer will have to Log in to his/her Goibibo account.
  • goCash will be redeemable on any products on Goibibo.
  • One goCash credit shall be equal to one Rupee.
  • Every transaction where the customer uses goCash as a mode of payment will be validated through Goibibo username, password and/or a unique OTP or a transaction password sent on his/her mobile number.
  • goCash redemption will be on First in First out basis: i.e. the goCash granted first will be utilized first with the exception of bonus goCash. Bonus goCash will be redeemed only after all other goCash has been redeemed.
  • Each time the Customer redeems his/her goCash, the same will be intimated to the Customer on his/her email and/or mobile.
  • Goibibo shall not be liable for any hacking or unauthorized use of the Customer’s account and it shall be the sole responsibility of the Customer to ensure privacy and confidentiality of his/her account details.
  • In case of any disputes, Goibibo’s decision will be final.
  • Bonus goCash are the credits offered by Goibibo to the user for which user has not paid any amount to Goibibo.
  • When a Customer makes a booking utilizing his bonus goCash, in event of cancellation of the booking, the bonus goCash used shall be credited back to his account as bonus goCash alone.
  • In the case of bookings made using goCash as a mode of payment, the promo-code discount that requires filling in credit card/debit card/net-banking details for validation cannot availed.
  • Goibibo holds the right to cancel all or partial bonus goCash granted to the user by Goibibo at any point in time without any prior notice.
  • In addition to the above, refund is also subject to Goibibo general terms & conditions available on www.goibibo.com.

HOLIDAYS BOOKING TERMS

APART FROM THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS THE BELOW MENTIONED ARE THE SPECIFIC HOLIDAY BOOKING TERMS.
  • You acknowledge that pictures of the holiday packages as shown on the Site are indicative and may not be representative of the actual products.
  • The rates /prices of the holiday packages shown on the Site are just quotations and no blocking has been made. Prices/Taxes are subject to changes and availability.
  • You are requested to confirm acceptance of the holiday packages customized for you by return email for a valid booking to be made.
  • Booking of holiday packages is subject to availability and confirmation of the holiday package supplier. Special rates shall apply for peak seasons and the inclusions of such holiday packages may vary without any notice.
  • In case we are not able to provide the Hotel Packages as shown on the Site, we reserve the right to give the substitute Hotel Package of the same standard.
  • You agree that the terms of the holiday packages may be subject to change at short notices due to circumstances beyond our or the suppliers control including but not limited to force majeure events etc.
  • In such cases we act only as an intermediary agent with only the role of a mediator. Even if you make a booking through us, the contract will be between the supplier and you and the general travel and contractual terms and conditions of the supplier shall apply. We are not a party to the contractual relationship.
  • By making a booking through our Site you make an offer to purchase the service or holiday package from the supplier. We are authorized by each supplier to accept your offer on its behalf; this acceptance occurs when we send you a written confirmation of the booking and payment as per payment policy is received.
  • Before placing an order you are advised to check the description of the Holiday Package carefully. By making a booking for a Holiday Package you agree to be bound by the conditions of booking included in the Holiday Package's description.
  • Once we accept your booking on behalf of our suppliers, a legally binding contract is formed between you and the supplier of the service or holiday package chosen by you.
  • The supplier's general travel and contractual terms and conditions are made available by us to you by means of a link or full text before the booking takes place and they will apply in addition to those set out here. The supplier's terms and conditions may include provisions relating to payment procedures, default, liability, cancellations, changes of bookings and refunds (if available) and any other restrictions.
  • Where there is a conflict between any information on our Site and the terms and conditions mentioned on this page here, the terms and conditions on this page here will apply in priority. Where there is a conflict between the terms and conditions on this page here the supplier terms and conditions, the supplier's one will apply in priority.
  • We act as a mediator between you and the supplier and we cannot be held responsible for any non-performance of the supplier.
  • We assume no liability for the performance of arranged services and/or holiday packages and we provide no guaranty with regard to their quality or fitness as represented. We do not as well supply any guaranty for the availability of services and/or holiday packages.
  • The responsibility lies with the supplier as direct organizer of the services purchased by you.
  • We request you to obtain suitable insurances/other protective measures etc. to safeguard yourselves.
  • The suppliers providing their services and holiday packages through us are independent contractors and not our agents or our employees. We are not liable for their acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches or negligence or for any personal injuries, death, property damage or other damages or expenses resulting therefrom. We have no liability and we will make no refund in the event of any delay, cancellation, overbooking, strike, force majeure or other causes beyond their direct control, and they have no responsibility for any additional expenses, omissions, delays, re-routing or acts of any government or authority.
  • We only commit ourselves to a careful choice and control of our suppliers. Incidentally the relevant supplier shall be liable in its own responsibility.
  • Your right to cancel your service or holiday or modify your booking is determined by the applicable terms and conditions of the supplier. In such cases it is your responsibility to inform us in writing of such request specifying your booking reference. The time of receipt by us of the declaration of cancellation shall be decisive for the time of withdrawal and cancellation fees to be applied by the supplier.
  • The laws of India govern the Holiday Packages. All disputes shall be settled within the jurisdiction of Delhi only.

BUS BOOKING TERMS

APART FROM THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS THE BELOW MENTIONED ARE THE SPECIFIC BUS BOOKING TERMS.
Goibibo responsibilities does't include:
  • The bus operators bus not departing / reaching on time.
  • The bus operator's employees being rude.
  • The bus operators bus seats etc not being up to the customer's expectation.
  • The bus operator cancelling the trip due to unavoidable reasons.
  • The baggage of the customer getting lost / stolen / damaged.
  • The bus operator changing a customer's seat at the last minute to accommodate a lady / child.
  • The customer waiting at the wrong boarding point (please call the bus operator to find out the exact, boarding point if you are not a regular traveller on that particular bus).
  • The bus operator changing the boarding point and/or using a pick-up vehicle at the boarding point to take customers to the bus departure point.
Passengers are required to furnish the following at the time of boarding the bus:
  • A copy of the ticket (A print out of the ticket, ticket e-mail). M-ticker can also be shown if the same was provided.
  • Identity proof (Driving license, Student ID card, Company ID card, Passport, PAN card or Voter ID card). Failing to do so, they may not be allowed to board the bus.
  • All tickets issued shall be non-transferable.
  • Passengers are required to reach the boarding place 30 min prior to the scheduled departure time.
Change in Bus Type:
  • In case the bus operator changes the type of bus due to some reason or any other discrepancy, we will refund the differential amount to the customer only upon being intimated by the bus operator.
Ticket Cancellation:
Cancellation of tickets can be done on the internet(online) or by calling on the customer care number (offline).
To cancel the tickets online via user account, Users shall have to complete the following procedure :
  • Log on to www.goibibo.com.
  • Click on the sign in link at the top right.
  • Click on Request Cancellation against the tickets you have booked.
  • The User can either cancel his/her entire booking or partial booking.
To cancel the tickets online without user account, users shall have to complete the following procedure
  • Log on to www.goibibo.com.
  • Click on the 24x7 Customer Support link at the top right.
  • Go to Bus section mention at the left side of page.
  • Request Cancellation against the tickets you have booked by entering the Booking ID given in the ticket.
  • The User can either cancel his/her entire booking or partial booking.
To cancel the tickets offline, call the customer care numbers 09213025552 / 1-860-2-585858 anytime during the week.
Cancellation of tickets after cancellation hours mentioned in cancellation policy:
  • The User will have to contact the bus operator to get his/her reservation cancelled. Company is in no way responsible to ensure that the ticket shall be cancelled and the sole liability to confirm the same with the bus operator shall lie with the User.

Cash on Delivery T&C

  • Goibibo reserves the right to cancel final delivery of tickets , post confirmation of transaction by Customer on www.goibibo.com.
  • All refunds under Cash On Delivery ("COD") option would require 15 days of processing post receipt of account details for refund amount from the customer .
  • The customers shall carry hard copy of the e ticket OR a valid M-ticket to board the bus.
  • In the event of Cancellation of booking under COD, the Cancellation Charges of the bus operator shall be applicable in addition to the Goibibo Ticket Cancellation Charges.
  • In the event of Cancellation of booking under COD, the delivery charges shall not be refunded .
  • Cancellation of COD will be done via goCash option , which customer can further convert/ redeem with any of the products advertised by Goibibo at any time in the future.
  • All customer transaction shall be subject to terms and conditions provided on www.goibibo.com\termsandconditions.
  • Promo codes/ Discounts will not be provided with cash on delivery.

CAR RENTAL TERMS

General Terms and Conditions
  • Distance and time is calculated from garage back to garage for both within city and outside city trips. In case of a pickup from City A and drop to city B, the distance from the drop off point in city B to garage in City A will be calculated and the payment for the same has to be made by the customer.
  • .Distance and time are calculated from the operator's garage and not from the customer's residence. Customers are requested to check the starting time and the starting odometer recorded on the trip sheet available with the driver prior to the journey. Disputes regarding the same will not be acceptable after completion of journey.
  • Expenses like toll charges permit charges, parking charges, entry & toll fees are to be borne by hirer.
  • Service Tax & any other Government Tax as per Government guidelines will be charged on the total bill.
  • The estimate provided at the time of booking is not to be construed as a package pricing for your trip unless specifically indicated. The final amount for your trip will be calculated based on actual usage (number of Kilometers and hours).
  • For Local Duties, driver BA/TA is applicable after 10.00 pm (or after 12 hours of service). In Hyderabad, local BA/TA is applicable between 9.00 p:m and 7.00 a:m.
  • Extra time up to 30 minutes will be treated half an hr, 31 minutes onwards as full hour and will attract tariff applicable to next higher slab/extra hour.
Outstation Travel Terms
  • For Out Station duties, a min of 250 Kilometers is chargeable in Bangalore. 300 Kilometers in Hyderabad. Min of 225 Kilometers or 250 Kilometers in Chennai. For all other cities, a min of 300 Kilometers is chargeable per day for outstation travel.
  • A calendar day begins at 6.00 A.M and ends at 12.00 Midnight. In case a drop off happens after 12 midnight, an additional days charges (of 225 Kilometers, 250 Kilometers or 300 Kilometers) are applicable unless specifically stated in the package rates quoted.
  • Driver BA/TA will be twice the normal daily BA/TA between 10 p:m and 6 a:m. (If the driver of the vehicle being hired drives the car beyond 10 p:m on any night or before 6 a:m on any day, then twice the applicable daily BA/TA will apply).
  • .No receipts will be provided for state entry taxes by the operator.
Goibibo Terms & conditions and responsibilities
  • Goibibo is ONLY an online car rental booking agent. It does not operate any car rental services of its own. In order to provide a comprehensive choice of car rental operators, vehicle types and prices to customers, it has tied up with many car rental operators.
  • Your contract for car hire is with the car rental operator and we are not liable to you for the provision of these services, however we will try to ensure that you have a car rental service at your disposal in our capacity as agent for the car rental operators.
  • Booking a car rental (that will be serviced by the car rental operator) from its' network of car rental operators
  • Providing refund and support in the event of cancellation.
  • Car rental tariffs are subject to change without prior notice.
  • In case cancellations is made less than 12 hours to departure time, booking is non cancellable. On cancellation entire amount will be forfeited.
  • INR 100 would apply as cancellation charges if booking is cancelled before 12 hrs to departure time and Rs 50 will be charged as a ibibo service fees.

HOTEL TERMS

APART FROM THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS, THE BELOW MENTIONED ARE THE SPECIFIC HOTEL TERMS.
  • The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into the hotel.
  • Check-in time and check-out time is as per hotel policy & terms. Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel might charge you extra for it. Please note that the check-in time is subject to change as per hotel policy & seasonality.
  • Your stay does not include additional personal expenses like telephone charges, meals that aren't part of your meal plan, any hotel services you use (like laundry and room service) or tips. The hotel will charge you directly for these when you're checking out.
  • It is mandatory for guests to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in. According to government regulations, a valid Photo ID has to be carried by every person above the age of 18 staying at the hotel. The identification proofs accepted are Drivers License, Voters Card, and Passport. Without valid ID the guest will not be allowed to check in. Note- PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
  • The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a 'couple' if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Company will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.
  • Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.
  • Government has levied service tax on hotel room charges effective on stays from 1st May 2011. This tax may be required to be settled directly at the hotel.
  • This site is for consumer use only. Any travel agent/tour operator/consolidator/aggregator should not use this site for individual/group bookings. In the event of bookings by any travel agent/tour operator/consolidator/aggregator through the Site are detected, the Company reserves the right to cancel such bookings immediately without any notice to such travel agent/tour operator/aggregator/consolidator. The various discounts and offers mentioned on the Site are applicable to the Consumer for the purposes of end use only.
Pay@Hotel Bookings
  • It is mandatory for you to send the auto generated form filling your correct credit card details immediately to the hotel in order for the booking to be confirmed by the hotel/accommodation.
  • The booking is not confirmed until the filled auto generated form is sent to the hotel.
  • The credit card details should be sent only via the auto generated form and in no other format.
  • Prior to the filling of the auto generated form being sent to the hotel by you, your booking is only provisional and hotel has no obligation to reserve a room for you.
  • The hotel shall confirm your booking post authorising and verifying the credit card details.
  • The hotel may deny your booking if it is not able to authenticate and verify the credit card details as per its terms and conditions.
  • The Company does not store your credit card in details database as they are sent by you directly to the hotel and stored by the hotel.
  • The hotel might block your credit card for the amount of the booking as per the hotel’s terms and conditions and the Company shall not be responsible for the same.
Cancellation Policy:
  • The Company offers FREE CANCELLATION to all its hotel booking users. This means the Company doesn't levy any cancellation fees of its own over & above hotel cancellation charges. FREE CANCELLATION is regulated by certain terms and conditions.
  • Hotels being booked may have their own cancellation policy and may charge user accordingly.
  • In the event of Cancellation the money shall be debited from your credit card directly by the Hotel as per Cancellation Policy of the Hotel.
  • Cancellations can be done online as well through our call-centre.
  • Only those cancellation requests which are made either online or on the phone to our customer support team shall be entertained. The Company shall not be liable to entertain any cancellation requests made directly to the hotel without intimating the Company and also through any other medium including, but not limited to, SMS or e-mail.
  • If you don't show up at the hotel, you'll still be charged the entire amount and hotel will debit the amount from your card directly.
  • Bookings done under offers are not refundable.
  • Modifications & Refunds:
    • The Company doesn't support changes and modifications to online bookings once they're made.
    • All the refunds shall be done by the Hotel directly to you and the Company is not responsible to ensuring any refunds whatsoever.
