ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar

Our representative will receive you on arrival at Srinagar Airport. Transfer and check in to deluxe houseboat.In the afternoon,there will be a shikara ride on Dal Lake.While riding the Shikara there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching with plentiful species including Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, Grebe etc.Dinner and Overnight stay at deluxe houseboat.

Day 2: Sightseeing at Srinagar

In morning, sightseeing of the Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. All the gardens are situated on the banks of the Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the background.Rest of the afternoon is free for the leisure activities and overnight stay at deluxe houseboat.

Day 3: Srinagar to Pahalgam

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Pahalgam (The valley of shepherds) -96 kms and 3 Hrs drive.En-route, visiting the saffron fields of Pampore, Pine forests, Awantipura Ruins and enjoy the beautiful countryside.Arrive at Pahalgam and enjoy Lidder stream. Later walk along pony trails with a magnificent view of the mountains.Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4: Pahalgam to Gulmarg

In morning leave for Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) -140 kms and 5 Hrs drive.Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course with 18 holes. If weather permits one can also have the view of Nanga Parbat, the naked mountain that is over 26,000 feets and dominates the entire region, also enjoy Cable car (Gondola) for mountain ride upto khilangmarg.Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5: Gulmarg to Srinagar

After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6: Srinagar to Yusmarg to Srinagar

After breakfast, leave for Yusmarg -47 kms and 2 Hrs drive.The drive to yusmarg is an enjoyment in itself. Grassy pastures stretching to acres of land, the dense forests full of pine trees, with the backdrop of splendid snow capped mountains leaves almost speechless.Drive back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at deluxe houseboat.

Day 7: Srinagar to Sonmarg to Srinagar

In morning leave for Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold) -83 kms and 3 Hrs drive.Sonmarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonmarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude Himalayan Lakes. In the evening drive back to Srinagar. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8: Srinagar at leisure

Relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the Srinagar. You may want to walk down to the local bazaar to buy souvenirs that will remind you of your small but enthralling rendezvous with Srinagar.Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 9: Srinagar to Manasbal to Srinagar

In the morning, drive to Manasbal Lake. One of the most important tourist attractions in Srinagar and is also known as the bird watcher’s paradise. Located about 30 kilometres to the north of Srinagar.It is surrounded by three villages Jarokbal, Kondabal and Gratbal overlooking this beautiful lake. It is the deepest lake of Kashmir valley and its beauty is further boosted by the presence of the beautiful lotuses which adorn this lake. The origin of this ancient lake is still a mystery but legendarily it is believed to be a bottomless lake. After enjoying the lake, drive back to Srinagar. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 10: Departure

At 6 AM, transfer to Airport in time to board your scheduled flight back to Delhi.

POINTS TO BE NOTED

• Bookings are subject to availability with the hotel.
• Cost does not include any other thing apart from the itinerary inclusions.
• For Houseboats stay - Due to cold waves in parts of Jammu & Kashmir, the houseboats are facing immense hardships in terms of water supply and irregular electricity therefore the water supply in washroom areas might be provided in buckets etc.
• For Gulmarg - Due to heavy snowfall,there will be a change of the vehicle in Tangmarg which is about 14 kms before Gulmarg.Snowjeeps or chained vehicles will be used from there up to Gulmarg and back so clients have to pay an amount of INR: 1200/- for a return trip.
• In Pahalgam: Sightseeing of Chandanwari, Betaab Valley, Baisaran Valley and Aru Valley are not included and can be done on direct payment.
• In Sonamarg: The vehicle will drop at the main Sonamarg and from there you will have to walk upto Thajiwass or one can go by ponies on direct payment.
• Guides at any place are not included hence it is a personal choice of the guest to take one at the main tourist attraction in Kashmir.
• At all the tourist spots Srinagar vehicle is not allowed to do any sightseeing internally, the vehicle will drop the guests at the hotel and then cannot go for any other sightseeing.
