ITINERARY

Day 1: Cochin – Cherai Beach

Arrive at Cochin Airport and our representative shall meet & greet on arrival, transfer to the beach hotel at Cochin Cherai. Enjoy the day at the beach and night tour of Cochin City and Marine drive. Back to the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 2: Munnar

Visit Fort Cochin and transfer to Munnar (145 kms in 4 hrs), en-route view the Cheeyappara Waterfalls. Proceed to Munnar and check in to the hill resort. Relax at the resort after the days travel. Enjoy the special candle light dinner at the resort and overnight stay. Flower arrangement on bed.

Day 3: Munnar

Munnar sightseeing of Maduppetty Dam, Lake and Echo point. Evening at leisure in Munnar for shopping. Munnar is a hub of Tea factories and you can get the farm fresh tea of export quality. Back to the hill resort and overnight stay.

Day 4: Thekkady

Transfer to Thekkady ‘Periyar’ the Wildlife Reserve and Hill Station which is 90 kms from Munnar, 3 hrs drive to the resort. Check in to the resort and day at leisure for the visit to Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary, spice plantation tour, Elephant ride and back to the resort for overnight stay.

Day 5: Alleppey

Transfer to Alleppey (165 kms in 4 hrs 40 mnts). Check in to the houseboat for the enticing cruise of the backwaters of Kuttanad. Check in to the houseboat by 12 noon & enjoy the cruise till evening and proceed for a guided village tour and fishing. Enjoy the special candle light setting for dinner. Overnight stay on board.

Day 6: Departure

Your morning cruise starts at 7 am till 9 am and enjoy the breakfast in between, prepare for a check out by 9 am and departure transfer to Cochin airport (95 kms in 2 hrs 30 mns). Or enjoy the visit to Alleppey beach and extend the sightseeing to Fort Cochin if time permits before departure.

POINTS TO BE NOTED

• Houseboat check-in at 12:30 pm and check-out at 9 am. A/C in Deluxe Houseboats will be operational from 9 pm to 6 am. Premium & Luxury Houseboat AC operates from check-in till check-out.
• Cruise time in Houseboat will be from 12:30 pm to 6 pm, followed by a halt at lake side at 6 pm and overnight stay. Next day cruise starts at 7:30 am till 8:45 am, followed by check-out at 9 am.
• Category of packages vary with category of resorts (2 star – 3 star – 4 star) of which rooms will be of base category unless mentioned for any upgrade.
• Hill stations of Kerala (Munnar – Thekkady – Wayanad) do not have A/C rooms except very few resorts which provide A/C room on extra cost.
