Aurangabad Airport which is also known as Chikkalthana Airport is a public airport located in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The main passenger airlines operating at this airport are Air India, Jet Airways and Spicejet. The domestic flights connect Aurangabad to Delhi and Mumbai and there is also an International flight to Haj every year.
There are two terminals, one is for domestic flights and one is for international flights. There are 4 boarding gates for domestic terminal and one boarding gate for international terminal.
Located on the banks of the Godavari River, Paithan is a city positioned approximately 56km south of Aurangabad. One could explore this small yet wonderful city on foot.
