Gaya Airport or Bodhgaya Airport is a public airport which serves the city of Gaya in Bihar. It is the second busiest airport in Bihar state of India after Patna. The airport handles domestic as well as international flights and comes under the administration of AAI. It is located just 5 kilometres away from the temple city of Bodhgaya which is famous as Gautama Buddha's place of enlightenment. The main airlines operating at the airport are Mihin Lanka, Druk Air, Indian Airlines, Thai Airways, Myanmar Airways and Air Bagan, Myanmar.
The airport has one integrated terminal building which handles both domestic and international arrival and departure flights. The terminal has a capacity to handle 250 arrival passengers and 250 departure passengers.
Gaya Airport is located at a distance of 12 kms from the city towards South-West and is well connected by all modes of transport.

The nearest bus stand is the Gaya bus stand which is located at a distance of just 5 kms. One can hire a rickshaw or car to reach the bus stand.
