The Goa airport, also known as the Dabolim Airport is situated in Dabolim. Located about 4 kms away from the nearest city, Vasco da Gama and 30 kms from the capital city Panjim, this airport caters majorly to the tourists. Although the construction of an integrated terminal was completed in 2013, it still awaits to be made operational. This new terminal is estimated to handle 4 million passengers every year.
Terminal 1: This is the domestic terminal of the airport and connects to cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Delhi. The terminal operates multiple flights to Mumbai every day by 5 airlines. Air India, AirAsia India, Jet Airways and JetKonnect are the major domestic airlines that operate at this terminal.
Terminal 2: This is the international terminal wherein the arrival and departure of a few European Chartered Airlines as well as international airlines including Monarch Airlines and Thomson Airways takes place.
