Miami International Airport (MIA) is the largest U.S. gateway for Latin America and the Caribbean. It is operated by Miami-Dade Aviation Department and is the property of Miami-Dade County government. The airport is the hub for American Airlines and American Eagle. Passenger and cargo flights to cities all over Europe, America and Western Asia operates from here. The annual economic impact of Miami International Airport’s (MIA) and the General Aviation Airport is $33.5 billion.
The main terminal has one liner concourse, i.e. Concourse D. Level 1 of the terminal contains baggage conveyers and ground transportation access. Level 2 has ticketing/check-in, shopping and dining facilities along with access to the concourses. Also, two immigration and customs facilities (FIS) are located in Concourse D, Level 3 and in Concourse J, Level 3.
North Terminal (Concourse D) (Blue):
This terminal has one concourse, Concourse D. It has one bus station and 45 gates.
Central Terminal (Yellow):
This terminal consists of three concourses, namely E, F and G along with 52 gates. Concourse E has two bus stations and 18 gates, Concourse F has one bus station and 19 gates, Concourse G has one bus station and 15 gates.
South Terminal (Red):
The terminal consists of 28 gates and two concourses, H and J. Concourse H has a single bus station and 13 gates, while Concourse J too has one bus station along with 15 gates.
Connectivity by rail:
Metrorail's airport connections are located in Miami Central Station. Metrorail's Orange Line offers easy and affordable accessibility to the airport. Also the MIA Mover electric-powered train helps passengers to connect between the airport and Miami Central Station.
Connectivity by Road:
The Miami Beach Airport Flyover makes traveling to and from the airport fast and convenient. 40- foot buses equipped with luggage racks and comfortable seating facilities helps passengers to connect with the airport.
