Minneapolis/St Paul International Airport is a joint civil military public international airport. It was originally known as Speedway Field and thereafter in 1921, named as Wold–Chamberlain Field.
It was not until 1944, that is was renamed as Minneapolis/St Paul International Airport
Terminals
Terminal 1
Also known as Lindbergh Terminal, it has seven concourses lettered from A to G.
It has been named after aviator Charles Lindbergh and has regular as well as seasonal flights by Air Canada Express, Air France, Alaska Airlines and many more airlines.
Terminal 2
This terminal is also known as Humphrey Terminal and has been named after the former US Vice President Hubert Humphrey.
It was built in 1986, and then rebuilt in 2001 and has concourse H is situated within it.
These have seasonal as well as chartered flights operated by Sun Country Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Icelandair and many others airlines.
There are many shuttle bus, taxi, light-rail, and rental car service available outside
Apart from this, shuttle service is also operated in between Duluth, Minnesota and Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport. This is being functioned by Skyline Shuttle and started in 2007.
