Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport

Situated in Sahar in the eastern part of Andheri, Chattrapati Shivaji International Airport is one of the busiest airports of India with over 32.2 million passenger traffic (2013-14). Initially, it was named Sahar International Airport when it got functional way back in 1942. Almost every major and minor airline, domestic as well as international, operates from here. While its international terminal faces towards the Sahar neighbourhood, its domestic terminal opens in Santa Cruz.

Terminals

Terminal 1: Terminal 1 deals with domestic flights (arrival and departure) and is categorized under 1A, 1B and 1C.

Terminal 1A: This terminal witnesses the check-ins and departure of majorly Air India flights (all domestic).
