Orlando International Airport serves the Orlando city in the Florida state of United States of America. This airport is in close proximity to major tourist attractions in Florida which is why it gets a fair amount of passenger turnout on yearly basis. Orlando International Airport is located at a distance of around 6 miles south-east of Orlando city. The airport is served by two different terminals Known as Terminal A and Terminal B.
Terminal A is split into 2 Airsides, i.e. Airside 1 and Airside 2. Airside 1 was opened in 1981 and is a part of original terminal. Primary arrivals at Airside 1 are domestic arrivals, while International arrivals are secondary. Airside 1 is hub to JetBlue Airways while the Airside 2 is a hub to South-west Airlines.
Terminal B is similar to Terminal A, as it is also divided into two Airsides known as Airside 3 and Airside 4. Airside 3 is a part of original terminal and was opened in 1981. Airside 4 is used as the primary international arrivals concourse.
There are different means which can be utilized by passengers in order to travel between the city and the airport. These means of transportation are:
Taxis are readily available outside the airport at the exit gates. These taxis are available for hire and charge basic fixed charges.
