Lok Nayak Jayaprakash Airport of Patna is commonly known as Jaiprakash Narayan Airport. It is operated by Airports Authority of India (AAI) and according to the statistics released by AAI, Patna airport is the 21st busiest airport in India. AAI classified the airport as a Restricted International Airport. Built in the year 1973, it runs various domestic flights all over India.
