Incheon International Airport

Incheon International Airport, sometimes referred to as Seoul Incheon International Airport was inaugurated in 2001 to strengthen and expand passenger and cargo service in Korea. Since its inception, the airport has made an outstanding development across various sectors. Today, it is recognized as one of the best airports in the world offering best quality service to international passengers and cargoes.

Statistical record stated that in 2013, Seoul Incheon International Airport was used by approximately 40,785,953 international passengers. It thereby attained the status of ninth busiest airport in terms of international passengers in the year.

The main passenger terminal is the largest airport terminal in South Korea. The passenger terminal has

50 customs inspection ports,

2 biological quarantine counters,

6 stationary and 14 portable passenger quarantine counters,

120 arrival passport inspection counters,

8 arrival security ports,

28 departure security ports,

252 check in counters,

120 departure passport inspection counters.

The Cargo Terminal Complex has six cargo terminals and are separated into three areas: import, passing, and export.

Terminal B:

It is operated by Asiana Cargo

Terminal C:

It is operated by the Incheon International Airport Foreign Carrier Cargo Terminal Company

AACT Terminal:

It is operated by the Joint Company named AACT.

About Incheon International Airport

Connectivity by rail:

The Incheon International Airport Railroad airport express station is situated in the Transport Centre. It is close to the main terminal building and provides high-speed services to Gimpo Airport and Seoul.

Connectivity by road:

Link from airport to mainland is provided by the toll Yeongjong Bridge and an expressway. Also, a second expressway on the Incheon Bridge connects the island with central Incheon.
