It was Feroz Shah Tughlaq who adorned the city of Hisar with several buildings and palaces between the years 1354 and 1356.
Personal supervision of the Muslim ruler Firozshah Tughlaq resulted in the birth of Hisar, one of the important cities of north India situated on National Highway 10. Interestingly, it is in Hisar where the first presence of man from pre-Harappan settlements was discovered. Hisar may not sound that much touristy to many, but when one goes deep into it, he gets to unearth some of the unknown wonders of the region.
This Mosque is located at Fatehabad, very close to Hissar and has its own.....
Located opposite the bus stand of Hisar city, Lat ki Masjid is a mosque, built by Firoz Shah Tughlaq (1351-88 CE). It beautifully showcases Tughlaq architecture and is constructed using various materials including red sandstone, buff sandstone and rubble masonry.
