  This was a new sleeper bus that came up on the route from Hyd to Udupi. ... The onboard experience was smooth. Van pick up and bus departure all went smoothly. Bus was new, the beds, sheets were all new. It was comfortable to sit on the lower berth without straining your neck. Chargers worked, AC worked without issue. Overall it was pretty good. I soon learnt the bus would take the route via Bangalore. I didn't know this earlier when booking. regardless I was ok with it. But, the stopover for dinner was not until 10.30, which was also the only rest stop. Later at night, the bus broke down after bangalore and it took more than an hour to fix it and get on the way. We were supposed to reach Udupi by 9 am, but we were still more than 300 kms away at 8am. The staff were doing their best but couldn't ride faster because of the bus maintenance issue.They were driving without rest stops or breaks because of the delay. The same happened on the way back. The route is certainly lot longer so there is no way staff can reach at the time mentioned without compromising on rest stops. Apart from the rest stops, and the route, rest was ok. But it did tire us a lot more because it added more than 4 hours ride to the trip.

  Switched sleeper bus to non sleeper bus during switch over and informed just before start of journey. Delayed start

  I had to board the bus 5 km from the boarding point I set while booking. I got scolded by the driver for having too much luggage. Is two bags too much luggage?? The bus stopped for dinner and breakfast at overpriced hotels where food is sold way over MRP.
