It was good. Comfortable seating for semi-sleeper kind of arrangement. It's tough for us to review on the arrival time punctuality as the government/traffic police doesn't allow the buses to enter Chennai through Tambaram and which results uncomfortable travel experience to everyone who chooses to travel by bus, irrespective of the operating (travels) company. Very costly for semi-sleeper bus (Rs.****/Seat). No guarantee the same kind of bus will be available for you to travel next time since bus was having named as "Sri Jai Bharath" while the booking was under "Diwali Travels". Otherwise we can have this as a option.

I had a really horrible experience. Bus quality: overall quality of bus is OK. Seat push back was not working and I have to sit erect through out my journey. One Stair for upper berth is broken. But OK. Somehow people will adjust. Now let me tell u the real danger. The driver really is not bothered about his passengers lives. He was doing 85 to 90 km per hour which is really a big kind of deal for this kind of bus. It was so bouncy sometimes that my back is paining. People sitting behind me were shouting suddenly when bus bounces suddenly. It was really a lot better when bus entered highway. I mean after madurai ride was somewhat OK with rare bounces when bus pass through bridges in four way highway. He was driving so rashly that I was worried very much since I have past bad experience in other travels. He was really not worried about other buses or lorries or anything. His only aim is to overtake them. He will apply breaks at the last moment if overtaking is not possible.. Few lorries drivers were yelling when he cut them suddenly while overtaking. We saw two accidents one between srs travels which rammed srm bus from behind. Bus was damaged but not fatal accident. Second one was with Setc and truck. Truck has crushed Setc bus from left side and were sticking each other. I thought at least now he will slow down a bit but he was not at all worried or concerned about it. His only aim is to go as fast as possible. Volvo and other buses they do 85/95 even more in National highway but going tht much speed in state highway from Rajapalayam to madurai is really dangerous. I travel frequently but this is kind of experience tht gave me adrenaline rush. Trust me I was not able to sleep even for half an hour. Later I came to know this is a new service to Chennai from RJPM. Only two weeks old. So to all passengers who read this, I hope you can understand what I am saying. Please beware. This is just my experience. I am thankful to God that I made it out alive. Happy journey to all.
