Dham in India is made up of four revered Hindu pilgrimage sites: Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.
The total distance covered by the 4 Dham circuit is 1,607 km. The Char Dham Yatra is supposed to be completed in a clockwise direction. Therefore, you have to start with Yamunotri and then move to Gangotri, Kedarnath and finally Badrinath.
You can use a taxi offered by GoIbibo to reach Charm Dham. You can enjoy a pick-up right from your choice of place and enjoy a direct route to the 4 Dham. You can reach up to Badrinath temple and Gangotri by taxi. On the other hand, Yamunotri and Kedarnath are about 10 to 15 km away from the nearest motorable road. You will either have to trek from there or can make use of mules/palanquins/helicopter services
The cost of your taxi for Char Dham Yatra depends on various factors, including the number of seats included in the taxi, the holy sites that are being covered and the amenities offered.
There are various 6-seater cab options available on GoIbibo for Char Dham Yatra, including Ertiga, Xylo, Innova and Crysta.
The cost of Ertiga will depend on the distance being covered by the taxi. Depending on whether you are opting for a spacious car or a car with limited luggage, the cost of Ertiga can range between INR 15.5 to INR 20.5 per km.
The time required to embark on Char Dham Yatra depends on the places you are covering. It can take up to 5 days to cover 1 Dham, 7 days to cover 2 Dham, 9 days to cover 3 Dham and 12 days to cover 4 Dham.
While the car you choose depends on the passengers travelling with you, you can keep a few factors in mind. For example, book a 6-seater if you are travelling with your family. Ensure that there is enough luggage space in your taxi to adjust your bags. Also, make sure that there is an AC installed in your taxi, especially if you are travelling in June from a hot city like Delhi
