Bhabani Pathak's Tilla, a historical landmark in Durgapur has appeared in the great literally works of writer Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay. The Tilla is basically a network of tunnels that start near Durgapur City Centre and stretch up to Damodar River. The features and intricacies of the tunnel are described in the novels like ‘Durgesh Nandini’ and ‘Devi Chaudhurani’.

  • Now people can only visit the Tilla or the Science Park.
