Ibrahim Rauza was designed by a Persian architect and built under the able guidance of Ibrahim Adil Shah II in the 15th century. Splashed with mesmerizing sculptures and beautiful adornments, the Ibrahim Rauza will grab your eyeballs from the first instant.

The Rauza is a square-compound with a mosque and tomb separated from each other by a tank and fountain. The mosque is crowned with a bulbous dome with rows of petals at its base that renders it an amazing look. It is shaded by a chhajja and a slender minaret at each corner of its five arched-facade. The mosque has a rectangular prayer room along with several tunnels and passages that lead to various areas of the Rauza. The tomb too comprises of a central chamber, engulfed by a verandah along with a dome, capping the whole.
