Chandipur is a beach resort in Orissa. It is situated in the Baleswar district in the Indian state of Orissa. The Chandipur beach is famous for the unique feature that at the time of ebb tide the sea water recedes by as much as 1 to 4 kilometres. One can literally notice the sea receding and coming back.
