Coonoor is a popular hill station located in the Nilgiri Hills. It is a famous holiday destination to visit among honeymooners and families. The place is flooded with tea estates, beautiful hills and classic restaurants. Sim’s Park, Droog Fort, Hidden Valley, Catherine Falls and Tiger Hill Cemetery are must-visit attractions.
This place is perfect to visit at any time of the year, but the most preferable time is between the months of October and February. Do take the train ride in the Nilgiri Mountain Railway that runs between Ooty and Mettupalayam. It is recommended to take a tour of the tea gardens as well.
