Which is the best area to stay at in darjeeling? We want to travel on the heritage train. What would be the timings of the train?
Hi, I personally prefer to stay around Mall. I think you are asking the timings of the train that run from Darjeeling to Ghoom and back to Darjeeling. In that case you can find the timings and also can book the tickets from IRCTC. There are three timinigs this train runs. One in the morning around 8:00 am, other ia around 11:00 am and the last one is in the afternoon. The first one is driven by coal engine. And the rest two are diesel. I will suggest to go for the 1nd timing, 11:00 am. Chances of fog and low light is low.

I want to visit Darjeeling in June 1st week this year . whether it is a perfect time or I should go in the month of October?
May- June (Summer) is a good time to visit before the monsoon which usually arrives in late June/early July. October (Autumn) is perfect too. Bring warm clothes in October; might be a bit nippy in the night.
