It also grounds associated memorials of Jawaharlal Nehru, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Sanjay Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Jagjivan Ram, Choudhary Charan Singh, Giani Zail Singh, Shankar Dayal Sharma, Chandra Shekhar, I.K. Gujral and Devi Lal.
The memorial of Mahatma Gandhi is a black marble platform amidst a vast green landscape. The Jawaharlal Nehru's samadhi is situated to the north of the Raj Ghat and is known as the Shantivan or Shanti Vana meaning the forest of peace.
The nearest metro stations to Raj Ghat are Indraprastha on Blue Line and Chandni Chowk on Yellow Line. Some of the prominent tourist places situated near the Raj Ghat are Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Connaught Place, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Sansad Bhavan.
