Diu is a small beautiful island situated at the coast of Kathiawad region at Veraval Port. It is mostly covered by the Arabian Sea from three sides and one of the least populated towns in India. Diu is well connected by a bridge to Gujarat.
Nearest railway station from Diu is Delwada Railway Station. St. Paul Church, the Church of St. Francis of Assisi, and The Apostle of Jesus Christ are the oldest churches in Diu. Gangeshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is situated three kilometers away from Diu and is also a prominent tourist attraction. Other must-visit places to visit include Diu Fort, The Fortress Pani Kotha, Naida Caves, Khukri Memorial, Goghla Beach, Jalandhar Beach, Nagoa Beach, Sea Shell Museum, and the Offshore Lighthouse.
