Diveagar is a beach-side village situated 170 kilometres from the capital of Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra. Nestled in the Konkan region, this place is a popular beach destination from the nearby cities like Shrivardhan and Harihareshwar.
Diveagar Beach that extends to 6 kilometres is the major tourist destination here. The beach is covered with Suru Trees, Coconut Trees and Betel Nut Trees. Sea Turtles, Migratory Seagulls and Sand-Bubbler Crabs can be found on the beach. Diveagar Ganapati Temple which is dedicated to Hindu deity Lord Ganesha is another attraction of this place. The months between July and March are the best to visit Diveagar. People who are fond of Non-vegetarian food must try Konkani food here. It is a great place to have a peaceful vacation with family and friends.
