Van Gogh Museum is the most popular museum displaying the largest collection of Vincent Van Gogh and other contemporary artists – Gauguin, Monet and Toulouse-Lautrec. It is located at Museum Square in South Amsterdam along Stedelijk Museum and Rijksmuseum.
The architecture is divided into two buildings- Rietveld Building (houses permanent collection) and Kurokawa Wing (holds exhibitions). The museum also features sculptures by Jules Dalou and Auguste Rodin. Some of the prominent paintings are The Potato Eaters (1885), Sunflowers (1889), and Wheatfield with Crows (1890).
