Visit Wat Arun

Wat Arun is a famous Buddhist temple located on the (Thonburi) western bank of Chao Phraya River. It is just opposite to the Wat Pho Temple that takes a ferry ride to cross the banks of the river. 

The temple dates back before the time of battles between Burma and Siam from the 17th-century. Since then it has been a proud symbol of Thailand. It is a picturesque landmark with detailed architecture; the interior and exterior with designer spires, Chinese porcelain art and glass art is worth admiring. It is also called as the Temple of Dawn as it is known to reflect the sunset view the most magical than ever seen. The visitors are requested to dress respectfully before entering the temple.
