I have 7 hour layover at Colombo. Please someone suggest a place to visit in Colombo for 2-3 hrs.
first thing you have to spend 25-30 dollars to get a visa to move out of Colombo airport. Colombo city is at least 1.5 hour drive from airport... nearest is Negombo beach but then it depends what time of the day you land in Colombo... do keep in mind the visa fees. Check with airline if they can allow you transit visa free of cost
