Kathmandu Travel Guide

Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal and a prime destination for a peaceful vacation. It is full of monasteries, temples, Himalayan ranges and backpacker trails. Months between September and November are best to visit and enjoy festivals. It is also ideal for trekking.
After 2015’s massive earthquake, many attractions got destroyed but most of them are still intact and safe. Some of the prominent places are Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Temple, Garden of Dreams, Pashupatinath Temple, Durbar Square, Kopan Monastery, and Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park. Indra Chowk Market and Thamel have the liveliest markets any shopaholic or foodie could ever want. And for adventure thrillers, The Last Resort with Bungy jumping, rafting, canyoning, and Langtang National Park with trekking trails are great outdoors. As mesmerizing Kathmandu is, the food here is no less behind. Momo Hut, Kaiser Cafe, and Old House offer a range of mouthwatering momos, hot drinks and desserts.
