Visit KL Bird Park
Kuala Lumpur Bird Park or KL Bird Park is a popular attraction for families and wildlife lovers. It is located in the Kuala Lumpur Lake Gardens, within 10 minutes from the capital centre. The Park inhabits more than 200 bird species and is also the largest free-flight bird sanctuary in the world.
It is stretched across 20.9 acres and divided into four zones. Flamingo Pond, Brahminy Land, World of Parrots, and Hornbill Park are some of the particular sections that enjoy the great crowd. You can see Indian blue peacock, macaws, rhinoceros hornbills in Hornbill Park section, flamingos, eagles, ostriches and many more species. The bird park is open to all visitors daily and requires an entrance fee. Visitors can leisurely enjoy the birds without causing harms and intervention in the natural landscape. Wheel-chair facilities are also provided for the needy.
