Visit Buckingham Palace
The well-known official residence of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, Buckingham Palace is one of the world’s functioning palaces. It is a very famous tourist attraction in London. It was built in 1703 as a large townhouse for the Duke of Buckingham and later became one of the residences of the British monarch.
It is allowed to visit the interior grounds of the palace in summers as well as winters for a fixed fee. Out of 775 rooms, 19 of the State Rooms are opened for the summer tour. The Grand Staircase with delicate designs, collections by Rembrandt and Vermeer, Sevres Porcelain, and the Throne Room are must-acknowledging things in the palace. The outdoor garden stretches across 39 acres and is jewelled with an enormous lake, wildflowers and manicured lawns.
