Visit Jardin du Luxembourg
Jardin du Luxembourg is a famous public park. The garden has beautiful lawns, fountains, sculptures, and a number of activities to do for children as well as adults. This historical palace was built in the 1620s for the residence of Marie de Medici.
With over 25 hectares of land, this historical attraction is perfect for picnicking. There are apple orchards, beekeeping hives, manicured forests, floral garden and more than 100 statues to look around. Apart from sightseeing, a number of activities keep the tourists and local Parisians busy with a puppet show, boat riding, ferry rides, and chess competitions. Access to the garden is free to all and the entry time varies per season.
