Junagadh Gate, one of the major Veraval attractions located in Somanth, is the major gateway to the town of Veraval as well as Somnath. This gate is the way to enter the city of Veraval. This is a triple entrance way with historical importance and is an ancient composition which was constructed a few centuries back. This is an outstanding gate with a lot of intricate carvings on the gate walls. The foreign invader, Mahmud Ghazni once broke this gate to enter into this sacred city to ruin the temples located in different parts of the town.
