Located near Kothwali Bazaar in Dharamsala, the museum is a grand display of Tibetan and Buddhist cultures. Though in its infantile stage, yet the museum has a good collection of ancient assortments and promises a long way to go.

Though in its infantile stage, yet the museum has a good collection of ancient assortments and promises a long way to go.

The Kangra Art Museum houses a good collection of arts, crafts, artefacts, costumes, jewellery, woodcarvings, anthropological items, coins, manuscripts, sculptures, pottery, royal tents, shamianas, pandals and a host of other delights. The museum houses a library, display section for contemporary artists, sculptors and photographers along with an art gallery that showcases Kangra Kalam works or the Pahari miniature paintings. In collaboration with renowned painters, the museum conducts certificate courses where people from different parts of the country enrol, learn and explore. This gives immense scope to budding artists.
