Kaza Travel Guide
Kaza is the capital of Spiti Valley in the district of Spiti and Lahaul in Himachal Pradesh. It is a well-developed town of Spiti, a base for the trekking camps and a starting point of the tour to villages like Kibber and Langza.
This tourist place is divided into two parts: New Kaza which houses government offices and modern restaurants, and Old Kaza which houses famous attractions and old bazaar. Places of interest to visit are Sakya Tangyud Monastery, Langza Buddha Statue, Komic Monastery and more. Tourists can also find trekking guides and porters here. As Kaza is a dry desert, it can be visited at any time of the year. Summers are best to visit while winters have the temperature drop to freezing point.
