Nashik is the fourth largest city in the state of Maharashtra. It is famous for Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Simhastha (Kumbh Mela) that is held every after 12 years. It is situated on the banks of the Godavari River at a distance of 166 km from Mumbai and 211 km from Pune. It has a large number of vineyards and wineries and popularly known as the “Wine Capital of India”.
