Ranthambore is situated 12 kilometres away from Sawai Madhopur. Ranthambore Wildlife Sanctuary is famous for the Bengal Tigers which can be easily spotted at any time of the day. Other animals that can be found in this sanctuary are wild boar, Indian leopard, striped hyena, sloth bear, crocodile and sambar.
