Navratri Festival: Ujjain is well known for its famous temples which are embellished during the festival season of Navratri (Dusshera). This important festival usually falls in the month of September or October.

Kumbh Mela: It is one of the most famous festivals of Hindus which is held once every twelve years. Large numbers of pilgrims flock to the city just to take a dip in the holy waters of Kshipra River just once t get rid from all the sins.
