Yanam Travel Guide
Yanam is a beautiful town located in the Union territory of Puducherry. The town is situated on the banks of the River Godavari. It was earlier a part of the French Colony until 1954 after it gained independence and became a part of the Indian republic.
This French-influenced town now attracts many tourists for the weekend getaways. Several places that tempt travellers are the 18th-century Catholic Church, The Grand Mosque, Draksharamam Temple, and Yanam Ferry Road. It is advised to visit in the winter months between October and March and avoid the sizzling heat of summers. The French cuisine here is very famous and to die for.
