Kullu Dussehra 2017
The unique thing about Kullu Dussehra is that it is celebrated on the day when it ends on the other parts of the country. Also the effigies of Ravana, Meghana & Kumbhakarana are not burnt here. It reflects the rich cultural heritage of the region that can be seen in the form of musical and dance performances that take place during the festival. It ends with the burning of Lanka on the banks of the beas river. This year, Kullu Dussehra will be held from 30th September to 6th October in Dahlpur Maidan, Kullu Valley and shall be visited to witness the magic. Book a train/bus/flight to Manali soon.
