Being fond of working in the home kitchen with her grandmother she developed the hobby of cooking at an early age. At the age of 12 she used to prepare a normal meal with a little guidance from her. But as she grew up and by acknowledging her interest in cooking she taught her some tips and tricks on how to cook the most popular Assamese Traditional dishes. Being associated with the Tourism industry since 2010 she along with her husband started a travel agency by the name Assam On Wheels and ventured into the Homestay business during 2018 and 2020. Since then till 2024 they waited until they restarted the homestay journey by the name A-Stay: Be with You on 20th Jan 2025.
