*Review of Hotel Akshay* *International* *Bagalkot* 1.This is the first hotel I stayed where they tolde that drinking water is not provided in the room and we had to make our own arrangements 2. Housekeeping arrangements were so poor that a guest was told at the reception in my presence that the sweeper had left for the day and if his room was dirty, he could sweep his room himself! 3. There were frequent power cuts and it took a long time for standby power to be switched on! People got stranded in the lift as a result!

Unlike other reviews I felt the hotel is above average. the place is good for couples and just with a call you get service from veg restaurant n non veg restaurant located close to this hotel. overall I would say good. Cons: water is lukewarm, bed sheets can be cleaned better! Also I saw that other people who had booked rooms were denied rooms as the hotel was booked due to increased footfall. I recommend that if you have booked then check-in before 6 pm to avoid such inconvenience.

Hotel double room has ample space for two, washrooms need to be maintained well and ventilation is key here. It's too hard to get any air except if you open the windows which leads to mosquito bites during the evenings. They can amp up the place by including mosquito nets for rooms and windows. Spacious huge rooms and no disturbance from the hotel staff at all.

Very near to Navanagar bus stand,clean and spacious room with less illuminated lights...The best part is Kamat Restaurant is on the ground floor with tasty and affordable prices...
