spacious rooms, great ambience, great of workacation. you can enjoy music nights where local bands perform some great tracks you may listened before, sets a nice mellow party vibe which is a cherry on top for the mountains, pun intended. amazing hazy views from the balcony of the cloudy lush green hills. this place is well situated above mcleodganj and it's walkable distance from triund trek. staffs there, are very understanding and helpful and can guide you for the trek and rest of sightseeing. anyways if you planning for work from himachal situation and your budget is sound like for per day, this place might be the place for you.

Alt Life is a pretty good hostel if you want to stay in and around Dharamkot. The facilities are good. The cafe/working area is good for people on workation although the Wi-Fi was somewhat spotty. Taxis usually drop you up to a certain point a few metres away form the hostel and its a downhill walk from there. Getting a rickshaw or a taxi to drop you all the way to the entry point might be difficult. The area and hostel are safe. They have an intrusion detection system at the reception and cafe area.

First of all it is a hostel not a hotel. I booked it under the impression that it was a hotel. Due to the same these are the things that I felt were missing: 1. No landline/bell to call for room service 2. No in-room service of food 3. Less of room comfort that you get in a hotel Also, the TV wasn't working throughout the day and it started working late at night (1AM). I didn't like the start much from family point of view. But yes, if I visit the place as a solo traveler, I might consider it.

nice experience , staff were very friendly and helpful, specially avinash helped us a lot. he was very polite and friendly. food was also amazing. rooms were cozy and super cleaned. eye catching view from balcony. will recommend this stay to everyone. again special thanks to avinash, will come back soon. ☺️

The staff has been kind to provide us early check in and the live music on Saturday night has been great. The room's cleanliness was pathetic and I had requested to clean again after the check in. The hotel is a bit away and on top of dharamkot city which made it a bit inaccessible to the general mobility.

My experience with Alt Life was amazing. Its situated in a wonderful location, with maintained rooms. I had a one day trip though but this property made my day. I took a private room here. The hosts and the staff were very supportive and warm. It was beautiful and peaceful to stay here.

This has been the best hostel for me during my backpacking experience. The manager, lovingly called Mickey is the perfect host. The rooms are clean, the company is amazing and I'll always cherish the memories of my time here. If you ever come over here, ask for the manager.

A perfect workation destination. Away from the hustle and bustle of Mcleodganj, you can work for days from here. The Dharmkot market is just a 2-min walk away. They also have a common area where you can work and have meals. Very helpful and welcoming staff as well!

Extremely peaceful stay at Alt Life. We took a private room instead of the dorms. The room was extremely clean and tidy with a carpet flooring. Bathroom also kept clean. The staff at the hotel is very welcoming and guide you on the things to do while you're there.

The hotel is located at one of the best locations in Dharamkot. You need to walk a little to reach the place. Staff is good and very cooperFood was really great and it was worth it. Don't forget to try the Bhagsu cake and Almond Danish.

the hostel had denied check in as I had booked for 3 persons however they got booking for single person we had to stay out of hotel for 4 hours and still nothing happened.
