Hotel Anand Sarovar

We stayed here for a day.For the price that we payed, we expected a better experience and treatment, however it's too ordinary and frustrating sometimes. Location/view 10/10 Probably the only thing that stands out. Located in serene outskirts inside the forest area, the property is a Lakefront resort, one of best in entire bhandardhara. Room 5/10 Room is very ordinary and decently clean. The balcony is hige with great views and comfortable for seating. However, nothing feels like a 4 star hotel treatment. Below are the specific comments 1.No dustbin in washroom 2.No shaving kit 3.No body lotion kit 4.No bathrob or hair dryer in the washroom 5.No hand wash in the bathroom 6.No mini refrigerator in room 7.Broken chairs in the balcony 8.Small Micromax TV with a broken back support 9.Fluctuating wifi that never gets connected on TV Food 7/10 Very ordinary and okay. All gravys taste the same. Okay and manageable Service 6/10 1.Rarely anyone pickups call at reception. They dont even bother to call back. 2.They tell you breakfast timings starts at 8 but nothing gets ready till 830 3.Even in the peak monsoon, they dont keep Umbrella for people to use. 4. The game area has pool table where few balls are missing and the service guys causally say that it's been missing since months now. Now these are small things which can be ignored but iam writing this for management notice so they can fix these smaller issues which is what the difference is between a standard hotel and a 4 star property. Overall feedback 6/10 Only the view is unbeatable so you can stay else where and come here at their restuarant for lunch, enjoy the view and go back. Staying here isn't that worth.

*serene stay with breathtaking views – anand sarovar, bhandardhara* if you’re looking for a peaceful lakeside getaway, anand sarovar in bhandardhara is a hidden gem worth exploring. *rooms:* the room size is quite spacious—comfortably fits 3 adults. the bathroom is surprisingly large, almost the size of the room itself. however, one thing missing is storage space inside the room, which can be a small inconvenience for longer stays. *food:* absolutely loved the food! freshly cooked, flavorful, and exceeded expectations. a big thumbs up to the kitchen team. *staff:* the staff is extremely courteous and helpful, making the stay warm and welcoming. *facilities:* while the property offers scenic beauty in abundance, some resort-like amenities such as a swimming pool, health club, yoga room, or cycling options are missing. boating on the lake is available but comes at an extra charge. *highlight:* the *lake view* is undoubtedly the best part—calm, stunning, and soothing to the soul. it's the kind of view that makes you want to sit quietly and soak it all in. *bonus tip:* during firefly season, the famous firefly spotting area is just 6 km away. the hotel staff can help arrange this magical experience, though it’s chargeable. verdict: ideal for a quiet, relaxing break in nature. if you’re okay with basic facilities and are here for the view and peace, this place delivers wonderfully.

1. Electricity goes in and out.2. No enjoyment items.3. Food taste is average, cost is high, hospitality is great and engaging. Housekeeping is very good but slow as it is evolving.4. No accommodation or food for drivers.5. In winter water levels are down and the hotel is little cheap. In the rainy season the water level is great but the cost is 3X.6. The Internet is pathetic, I got screwed up with my work as I went Thursday and Friday in winter and booking was feasible and available.7. During night time, there are a lot of insects attracted and might not allow you to sit peacefully under lamps.8. Breakfast time is 8-10 am but they get late.9. Use a boat to travel to Amruteshwar temple, which can cost 3500/- which is worth it.10. Other than that the hotel does not have any engaging facility that will pull people out of their rooms.11. "Lake view" rooms 201, 202 are the only worth rooms to have an awesome view. "Lake villa" is for people who do not care for view but show-off luxury, they are very costly.

we had a mixed experience at anand sarovar resort. while the location is excellent, the management seemed to struggle with timing and basic amenities. our check-in was scheduled for 1:00 pm, but we arrived at 1:15 pm and had to wait until 2:25 pm for our room to be allotted. lunch service was also delayed, which added to the frustration. to make matters worse, our bathroom was missing essential items like hand towels, bath towels, and a floor mat. we received these items only at 4:00 pm, which meant we had to wait for a long time to freshen up after a tiring 6-hour journey. while the rooms were clean, the overall experience was marred by poor time management and lack of attention to basic amenities. the staff seemed friendly, but more focus on guest comfort and timely service would have made a big difference. if the resort can work on streamlining their check-in and service processes, and ensure that rooms are fully equipped with essential amenities, it could elevate the overall experience for guests.
