Anandvan Jungle Resort by Dev Group of Hotels

Before I could write about the stay, I would like to request the awesome couple who own this place, “please don’t change anything for next few years”!About the the property: First of all you would enjoy the drive to top of the hill to get to this property. We had done a lot of research on resort in and around Rishikesh and we rounded up on this property only because of the location, price and availability. As I mentioned before the property is in a very beautiful location which is almost at the top of the hill. It also has a small stream that flows behind it and u can also take bath in this natural stream.Rooms: Rooms are very well maintained and spacious. You have all the amenities like room heater, extra blankets, etc, that you would require in this place. Hygiene: First thing that we would be comfortable in a place is because of the hygiene and safety. The rooms, beds, bathroom, tables ( including common areas), vessels, glasses, swimming pool, etc., are very clean. Very well maintained property in terms of hygiene. Food:We should say that the food whatever we had in the entire Utrakhand was much better than in our place back in Bangalore. Even the small dhabas had tasty and delicious food all over. However, in this property it was much better and more delicious. A bit on the expensive side but I wouldn’t mind paying more if I am getting this quality and taste. I would always prefer quality and taste over quantity! Safety:If you’re a couple, stag, family or whatever this place have people who can always take care of you in case of any emergency! Because all the people or at least most of their staff are Pahadi people and they are very loving and kind people. They don’t mind going to extreme trouble to make sure that the customers are comfortable. Service: To be honest I have stayed in a lot of hotels to the most luxurious resorts but the service that I received here was the best. I wouldn’t say that they’re all great With language and etiquette but their unspoken love and care is much more valuable than any of the other places that I have stayed so far. I would thank our waiter-cum-caretaker-cum-all-in-all Mr. Raju for all the help we have received from him. As I mentioned above please don’t change anything or try anything new for couple of years. Just retain the same staff and efficiency and this would be one of the best places to stay in Rishikesh. Thank you.

Hotel was very average, despite paying hefty amount for stay only the food that kept us staying here. Other amenities like room service, cleaning , staff behaviour was all average and even rude. They don't have proper connectivity, like if you don't come by your personal vehicle then it will be a nightmare for you. They don't have any contact with drivers . You just have to roam around for facilities. Only because of food I am giving 3 stars else it is a 1 star resort. AC don't work, didn't prepare the room in advance, everything is torn apart. It was very average experience.

Very bad resort for families. Rooms have very bad smell of sewer. So called superior rooms are even worse. No intercom or landline available and you have climb hundreds of stairs for each thing to reception. No facility is provided in rooms. Furniture is broken. Only drunk people come here and do vulgar activities and play loud music whole night. Staff ignores the complaints. Totally waste of money. Family and couples should stay away from this property. Everything is very far so you have to rely on hotel’s supper expensive food.

बेकार की जगह, कुछ और दिखाया मौके पर कुछ और पहुँचने के 2 घण्टे बाद चेक इन हुआ, और फिर रूम में पहुचें तो सामना हुआ गंदी बेडशीट और चादर से। रूम में हमारे पहुँचने से पहले ही कई मेहमान थे, जैसे कीड़े, टिड्डा, मच्छर और जितने भी पहाड़ी कीड़े हो सकते हैं। तीन से चार बार कहा तब सफाई हुई। हां रूम में इंटरकॉम नहीं था, बाथरूम में लॉक नही था और रूम लॉक करने के लिए चाभी नहीं थी। फ़ूड के नाम पर बासी आटे की पूड़ी और आलू की सब्जी...
