Its a home where the family have modified the upper floor for guest accomodation. We stayed in the AC room with balcony. The neighbourhood is calm. The room was clean and comfortable. Anoop and his family are very warm and welcoming. Anoop kept us entertained with all his stories of Kerala travel and places to visit. He has a good knowledge of the not so mainstream travel destinations in Kerala. He suggested us a lunch cruise on river Tejaswini which turned out to be the highlight of our weekend The food was good. Home cooked authentic Kerala food. Overall we had a good experience. Anoop is running another homestay in bekal which goes by the name of bekal heritage home. I look forward to visit it in the near future. Nothing

Good thing: Decent family... morning breakfast kerala taste...AC.. balcony seating is peaceful.bad things: Bed is not even double bed queen size it's a big cot 3.5ft or 4 max... family with a kid can't sleep in bed so I have slept on the floor luckily i had mat..room width was only 6.5ft..bathroom was small with no toiletries n exhaust...room fan was not working properly... windows doesn't have mesh so cant open windows..common area no one will use...in night time the road is full dark no lights u will feel afraid...no nearby decent hotels for food...for vegetarians nothing available.

More than the homestay, the people in the home are lovely.. They treated us with utmost care.. Ofcos the food was of real Kerala style .. Even vegetarians can go for it.. The room was also quite clean.. Early morning peacocks arrive at the backyard.. Unlike other homestay, ppl here are not moneyminded.. v had a wonderful stay .. Value for Money..If I visit kerla again I would obviously stay the again..

Yes we enjoyed our stay in Bekal Fort Homestay. It was a great experience for us as we were getting very homely feeling there. Anoop was very helpful he helped us in planning our sight seeing itinerary. Food was great we had tasty home food and our whole family enjoyed overall stay. We are looking forward for our next trip to Bekal soon. Thanks Abhishek.

We had a great stay and my kids enjoyed being there.. Aunty was so so good and provided tasty, yummy food..It was more than a home experience. Mr Anoop helped and guided with sight seeing plans. I strongly recommend this place if you are planning a trip to bekal with family.
