Blue Water Resort

My Staying experience was quite good. Resort is located at beach side with an silent and pleasant atmosphere. Also, in back side of Resort there is one Coconut Garden and found to be a clean and well maintained. Resort Staff also good and co-operative. Housekeeping Staff maintain cleanliness in room every day. There are two major issues I have noticed in my stay, one is Regular Drinking Water and another Is Transportation. The Normal drinking water is too salty, Therefore you have to buy separate Mineral water Every day. Their Autowala charging more money (Rs. 180 to R. 200 for 7 KM Distance) from the customer according to their need. Public Transportation also available there but there frequency every after 45 Minutes. (Local Bus available from Malvan to Devbaug - Rs. 10 to Rs 14) You have to approach local people there and they will guide you properly. Last but not least : Food quality of the resort is not as good as compared to the outside food outlet and restaurant. Food is also expensive. I think their Cook is not professional and their food menu is very less. So, personally I am not happy about the food quality as well as food rate. Special Notes: 1) Please carry sufficient cash (For Transportation, Local Shopping and Water Sport Activities) because there are very few ATM centre available (ATM available in Market Area nearby Malvan Bus Stand) 2) Sight seen is not available except Sindhudurg (Malvan) Fort. (Local Ferry from 9 to 5 available daily) Those who are interested in historical stories and places must have visit the fort. 3) Water Sports and Activities are quite good and people often come there for water sports and activities. 4) Beach of Tarkarli and Devbaug is very clean and not crowded compared to the GOA Beaches. 5) If Properly plan then you can do all water sports activities and local sight seen (2 to 3) in hardly day or two. 6) Prefer Online Booking, You will get low rate. I think personal or Direct counter booking will charge you more. Above information will be relevant for you, If you are planning to visit Tarkarli.

This was our very first visit to the place, which is famous for the best beach in my home state. Gmaps took us accurately to this place, since it was already dark and raining. On account of the lean season (First week of Oct 2016), we were the only family in the hotel and the staff informed us, most of the surrounding hotels are running empty, as the tourist season was yet to commence. Service was completely personalized, prompt, as nobody else was staying in the hotel. Hot water has to be requested, which the hotel staff shall bring to your room in small buckets. Bathroom is a little cramped, but room interiors are decent. Each room has a small gallery, with chairs to soak-in the wonderful atmosphere, especially over a coffee. Food is tasty, complimentary breakfast is decent as well, although the restaurant area is a little small, to accommodate the crowd during tourist season. Wireless net is provided by the hotel, but it only works in the lobby, not in the rooms. Cellular connectivity could be a challenge inside the rooms. You don't need a guide to know about the attractions nearby, when & how to visit etc, as the hotel staff is expert to assist in this regards. Ignore the rusted stuff around the property, which is impractical to maintain due to the sulphur content in air, being located this close to the sea. There is an opening at the backside of the hotel, navigating through the dwarf looking coconut tress, which ventures on to the beach. Property has space to park around 6 to 8 cars inside the compound.

The resort is beautiful, rooms are well maintained, garden in front of room balcony is nice and it is right on the beach. Food :Decent veg food, very nice non veg and good breakfast. Room : we asked for 2nd floor room. It's awesome for its view Service : bit slow, but they tell you they are slow, so you can order accordingly Staff : very helpful, they'll help you with contacts for scuba, water sports etc I am definitely going again. it is a nice resort with prompt and friendly staff, clean and neet premises, and tasty maharashtrian food. a must go if you want to enjoy beach without noise. it has a private access to clean and safe beach. Ask for seaside balcony rooms to enjoy see breeze. and do it malvani or maharashtrian food. do not eat Punjabi or Chinese. not because they can't cook but because maharastrian food is awesome and you must eat local food wherever you travel. We had a wonderful trip, must visit.
