It was a horrible experience at Courtyard by Marriot, Vadodara. We went to watch the Statue of Unity that day and were to return to Vadodara at 10 pm in the evening. We called the hotel to inform about the same at 6.45 pm. The hotel assured us that everything was fine and nothing to worry. But when we reached at 10 pm, they checked us into a deluxe room without informing anything (We booked a junior suite three months prior). When we entered the room, we were surprised to find out it wasn't a suite, rather a simple deluxe room. We called the reception to find out why our room was downgraded. The guy told us it was a technical glitch. Then he told they are full and he couldn't do anything. Then the manager came and told us that some other person has checked into our room (because Marriott hotel has a policy that a Marriott member can check into any room they want even if that room is booked by someone else earlier). Then the manager tried to gave us free breakfast or dinner as bribe (around 2000 rs) to compensate for their wrongdoing). We denied and checked out of Marriott at 11.30 pm at NightI am giving one star to Courtyard by Marriot, Vadodara because I can't give zero stars !!

I had a truly memorable experience at Courtyard by Marriott Vadodara. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding. The staff was courteous, well-trained, and always went the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. Specially thanks to Miss. Sanchi & Mr. Bhatt for warm welcome Good place for business meet.

Overall a good experience but breakfast options could have been better. The stay and room quality was top notch.
