Stayed here on 31st Jan 2016. Location is slightly away from the church but its on the main road, close to bus stop towards church. The place is ideal for those who are looking for peace of mind. The travel to church is not an issue even if you don't have your own transportation. The hotel is very clean and good. Restaurant is perfect and the buffet breakfast was tasty. It has a clean and secure car parking too. I must thank the receptionist, Ms. Nancy. She is very proactive and helpful. She even came out to parking and advised us to take Mannargudi route as the standard route to Thanjavur was not in good condition. Staff like her is an asset to any industry. My room was the farthest from reception and wifi signal was poor. Since it was not my primary requirement and I had good mobile data coverage, never bothered about it. Overall, I recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a safe and clean accommodation at Velankanni.

The stay at the Daffodil inn was super, we were 2 families with small kid, Check-in was super fast, Front desk staff especially Mr. Suresh is very fun person and very helpful for guiding our day activities at Velankanny. and other staff are very polite, help in every manner, complimentary b/f is not that much spready, but sufficient for a break to the fasting. Rooms with all the amenities provided, split AC, King bed with brand new mattress, 24hrs hot water shower, electric kettle, fridge, table with chairs, brand new towels, and a small open balcony, worth more than what you paid. Got an amazing huge discount from Go-ibibo, definitely would stay again whenever I am in Velankanny. Very quiet stay, having enough privacy, ample car parking, decent dining and charming staff.

Rooms were clean linen was clean staff were polite, courteous ample parking AC working TV working running hot water 24 hours three more chairs, one tea table, one writing table washbasin, shower, handshower with hot water and western toilet complimentary breakfast was only idly, uppuma, vadai, chutney, sambar, - no eggs or bread etc

the service was exceptional. It made us overlook the minor shortcomings like when the room had water on the floor when we entered. Church is a little way away. Even if you dont have your own transport, there are several sharing autos at walkable distance from the hotel. Food was good too and fairly reasonably priced.

Daffodil Inn Hotel is very good and clean. This is second time, We enjoy in hotel and also enjoy the food is good. Forgot to take photos in Daffodil Inn, this is last minute to take photo after leaving the hotel. Next time, We will come again in same hotel and stay. Thanks for your support in Daffodil Inn Staff😍

I had a stay by June 2016 last week and I was really surprised. Not sure it is because of newly constructed, but if they maintain the hotel rooms in the same way down few years then I would definitely turn again.
